A foggy day at Alamo Square. Walking up the park my gaze stayed where the grass met the sky, and I remember the wind blowing so hard I couldn't help but laugh.

Even with the smallest knowledge and experience (like mine) in photography, you never lose the delight when spotting wonderful light. There are many mornings I take a second long look at the sun coming in through the curtains onto my bed, mesmerized by how beautiful light can be.

I remember hearing how bright overcast skies are best for outdoor photos- good light, but softened through the clouds. I think foggy days like these are one of my favorite things to photograph.
